This piece combines three map - Tucson, AZ, Rotterdam, NY and Long Island, NY. It is done with colored pencils the palette is has a subtle nature to it. Framed in a solid hickory frame.
Valley View Hot Springs, CO. Orientation of the map reflects the view from the springs out to the valley. The bat colony in a nearby abandoned mine is represented with small black marks.
Elsie, MI is the area of the family legacy for this client. The water table is at 12 feet. Work was done on a digital copy of the 1912 map.
